Finnish blogger to jail over two years
Sunday, 01 June 2008 08:04

Yes, this is true. Finnish blogger Seppo Lehto has got over two years prison for insulting persons in Internet at Blogger. Victims were Finnish members of the parliament, Finnish authorities including local judges. Seppo Lehto has also attacked against Russia and Vladimir Putin, Islam & Mohammed.

I totally agree, that Seppo's acts in Internet are crimes but about the sentence... Here you can rape a child, kill a man etc. and get smaller sentence. It seems that attacking against Finnish politics and authorities is a bigger crime.

Meanwhile there is a discussion going on about corruption, as Finnish politicians' election financing is more like money laundering as the sources of the finance are hidden behind several associations, "painting sells" and "seminar rewards". Several members of the Finnish cabinet are involved. Perhaps I should not write more or I'll be blogging from jail too.

But one thing is sure in the Future. Finland will not be the top country of freedom of speech and low corruption in the future. The falling will happen while Matti Vanhanen continues as prime minister.

Should Seppo Lehto get free? Answer the poll.

He's got several probationary sentences before this sentence, so I think this has nothing to do with freedom of speech. A nutcase is a nutcase. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seppo_Lehto

Watch his videos from Youtube, I'm glad he's behind bars.

He was sent o jail for racism and blogging. He thought hat he had the right to insult people on the internet. Freedom of speech yes but privacy must also be respected. He deserved 10 years
