Georgian war is one of the first wars, where the battlefield is also in the Internet. Georgia has blocked all the traffic from Georgia to .ru web pages. The South Ossetia government pages were hacked and are now open at tskhinval.ru. Also "Novosti-Georgia" new site has been under DOS attack.

Russia is also doing it's best in the information warfare. Russia calls it's troops "peacekeepers" or "peacemakers" and talks more about humanitarian help than military intrution to Georgia. Russian news seem to be very biased. And now Georgiangovernment web pages are under attack also.
