WinCapita fraud, previously WinClub, has turned to be the biggest scam in Finland's history. Finnish National Bureau of Investigation has investigated the scam for two months now, and about 10 000 persons have invested on WinCapita totally about 100 millions euros. This far 310 persons have reported a crime as the biggest single investments have been about 500 000 euros. Totally three prosecutors have been allocated to the case, which is likely to take a lot of police and law authorities time.

Most of the investors are Finnish and the money is likely be in Finland. The core of the "company" is about ten persons, but it is likely that also other people near the core, have been aware about the company's true business methods.

The company was supposed to make money with global currency trade, but it openly told that it had started with gambling in Internet. Still 10000 people did not hear the alarm bells. The success of the scam must have been in a long time plan. For three years the company payed back good profits for investors, who searched new people to make easy and fast money. Now also some of these people, known as sponsors, may face criminal charges too.
