Status 14.5.2008 Decided to "open" the site for alpha users. Read also Kirnu's Author's guide. Ideas I think, I'll great a news seed page, which collects seed from different news sites under some categories. I also started to plan a game and other features at the site. Promiseware - Perhaps Forum could be useful and polls too Forum and polls added as promised

- better layout & template Upgrated 8.10.2008, Upgraded to Joomla 1.5.7. This time everything seemed to go fine. So memorylist for updates is useful. 29.8.2008, Upgraded to Joomla 1.5.6. I read that there might be some security issues, and now the new update was available at Fantastico. This time updating was much faster, as I copied the TextLinkAds and Googleads scripts and I already knew, that I'll have to change to Global configuration back to SEO friendly to make the links work. 5.8.2008 Added hot at Kirnu (Popular of Late for Joomla!1.5), which shows the most popular articles from the last two months. Online information moved to left column and links to forum and latest comments were removed. 4.8.2008 Added a random picture of "Interneters" at top right column. 30.7.2008 Kirnu forum added. The used plugin is Simplest Forum 1.2.3. Also search feature, which was lost in Joomla 1.5.4 update, was returned. 26.7.2008 Fantastico (interface, not a person) proposed that I should update new Joomla version, and I installed Joomla 1.5.4. This was not totally pain free, because I loosed Google adsense and Kirnu logo. Logo was easily changed, but with ads, I decided to use an extension, and I installed MultiAds. 1.7.2008 Added polls to the front page, "hot at Kirnu" removed earlier. 24.6.2008 Added link to the latest comments, which makes much easier to find new comments at Kirnu. 17.5.2008 Added two modules: latest comments & related articles. 15.5.2008 Activated "who is online" module to the right side bar, Facebook login modified. 14.5.2008 Added JoomlaFacebook component and now Kirnu is visible at Facebook too. (I'm not totally happy about the result) as the theme is not default theme and it just does not fit to Facebook space correctly. Added SectionEx for better section and category management. Added disclosure and author guide. 13.5.2008 The first author has joined Kirnu. Welcome old dog  . Social bookmarking plugin (The ultimate social bookmarking plugin)installed. Noticed some timezone problem with Global users, which slows down the publishing. I configured the server time settings to see if it works. 12.5.2008 Commenting plugin (yvComment) installed. Failed to install avatar/gravatar & UserMeta. 10.5.2008 The sectors and categories are added. The template is chosen (stayed with rhuk_milkyway). Google ads, search added. 9.5.2008 I'm back with Joomla and I figure out the linking problem. 8.5.2008 I cannot make Joomla 1.5 linking working and I test also Joomla 1.0, Drupal, Mambo and other platforms. 7.5.2008 I'm out from hospital and happy to be alive. I came home and I checked that the domain, which I trustfully purchased before the surgery, is now ready.
