New OpenOffice, v3.0 is now available for the users. But only if you manage to download it. http://www.openoffice.org/ servers failed earlier this day and you had to search a file to download from other sites.

Apologies - our website is struggling to cope with the unprecedented
demand for the new release 3.0 of OpenOffice.org. The technical teams are
trying to come up with a solution.

Luckily I got my version from Finnish site.
